Be cautious with this method though as prolonged exposure to strong sunlight may alter the color of some jade varieties. You can also leave your jade out overnight during a full or waxing moon. Moonlight is more gentle than sunlight and is a great natural way to cleanse and recharge your Jade.

Whatever method you choose to cleanse and charge your gemstones, you can amplify the effects of your effort by closing your eyes and visualizing energy enveloping your gemstones which is clearing away the negativity or impurities stored within it.

Always avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials which can damage your gemstone’s surface and diminish its healing properties. Secondly, it’s important to store your gemstone jewelry properly. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Excessive heat can cause your gemstones to fade or crack, affecting their energy and healing properties.
